Royal Neighbors of America was founded in 1895 with the purpose of offering life insurance to women, who were excluded from the life insurance industry at the time. Today, the company offers life insurance to both men and women, with a product line including whole, term and universal life insurance, Medicare supplemental coverage and fixed annuities.

The 250,000 Royal Neighbors policyholders also benefit from membership privileges, including prescription drug discounts, health screenings, scholarships and disaster and fraternal aid.
