Partners Mutual Insurance Company is a Midwestern company that offers personal and business coverage in Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan.
Founded in 1931 by the late Herbert C. Ewert (relative of current executives), Partners Mutual Insurance Company started as Badger State Casualty Company Limited Mutual, which insured autos exclusively in Wisconsin. The name eventually changed to Badger State Mutual Casualty Company, and the company started offering fire, homeowner, commercial and workers compensation coverage in addition states through the 1970s.
In 1992, the name changed to Partners Mutual Insurance Company to remove the regional affiliation in the previous name.
Recently, the company began offering Limited Exterior Matching Endorsement, which is a new coverage extension available to homeowner policyholders in Michigan and Wisconsin that provides up to $10,000 to replace undamaged vinyl or aluminum siding or composition shingle roofing which is no longer available in the style or color that matches the replacement.
